Winners! - Blue Patch Awards

We were really excited to be nominated for the Blue Patch awards and when we found out we'd won we were very happy indeed. 

Blue Patch is a community of British people and businesses leading the way in producing quality products, with an emphasise on ethically sourced materials and manufacturing processes.

We won the New Business Award, which was awesome - especially as we were up against some stiff competition. It was really interesting to be introduced (albeit virtually) to other young businesses which are striving to be more ethically minded and making decisions with their environmental impact in mind. 

Bird Sunglasses - Sustainble eyewear with a social purpose. Made from sustainable materials, unique designs and polarised lenses. What we really loved about Bird is that with every pair sold the profits help fund bringing solar power to households in Malawi, Zambia and Uganda - through the Share You Sun partnership with SolarAid. 

Davenport Originals - A family run design and manufacturing practice based on the edge of the English Lake District. Specialising in designing and making contemporary furniture, lighting and homewares that are built to last.
